MARLBORO SPEEDWAY 1955 - 1959

The speedway was created by the Lavender Hill mob in central Maryland just 30 minutes east of Wachington, D.C. . Great racing followed for many years and sadly closed in 1969. SCCA Nationals, dozens of regional races saw the best drivers and cars from the Northeast and south.

 58:  Don Sessler came east from Ohio chasing SCCA points.  He came to Bob Holbert’s home track.  He pushed hard but Holbert won with Sessler 2nd.
