1955 - Marlboro opens and the action starts.  An Austin Healey hits a haybale marking the course and spreads it everywhere.
 Two Jags hit the hay and slide wide while the White Jag and Healey try to take advantage

 NOW it is 1957 and Marlboro has matured.  Grass has been planted and growing and faster mor exotic cars are here to race.  George Arents Ferrari got a lot of attention
 1957; Charley Wallace takes the checkered flag from Tex Hopkins.  both were from the great Lavender Hill Mob.

 Nice shot of Duncan Black who also drove his #4 Formula III.  Duncan was the son of the founder of Black & Decker.  Easy for him to own some neat cars.
 1957:  Weiler’s Lotus 11 is getting some serious attention.  Weiler would finish 3rd in G Modified.
 1958:  George Reed’s #95 Ferrari drives off the grid next to Duncan Black’s Ferrari after the last race of the day. Black was 5th, Reed 11th.
 57:  Holbert’s Porsche 550 RS.  Alma Holbert under the canvas staying out of the sun.  Note the finned  Chrysler convertible.
 1958;  Walt Hansgen stops to get the checkered flag after his victory in the President’s Cup.
 58:  Don Sessler came east from Ohio chasing SCCA points.  He came to Bob Holbert’s home track.  He pushed hard but Holbert won with Sessler 2nd.

 1958: Holbert wore his sunglasses and usually raced behind a face shield.  Charlie Kolb’s Ferrari #31 sits behind.
 1958:  Bob Holbert on the grid getting last minute advice from his crew.  Holbert is clearly serious in this photo knowing Don Sessler is in front of him.  Charley Sarle’s AC Jaguar is in the background.

 1958:  Don Wolk does his best Marquis dePortago imitation having a cigarette on the grid.  Don would not finish.
 1958: The start of a handicap race.  Howard Hanna #20 DB with the blue K Production Berkley of Bill harding.  Hanna was 3rd, the Berkeley never finished.
 1958. John Holmes in #170 finished 5th, John O’Keefe in #37 ws 13th.  The white car #17 with Dick Thompson was 3rd.  There is no record of #26.
 58;  Poor Bob McCallum’s #65 MGA coupe sits after a roll over.
