SEBRING 1958

Ferrari takes back the win with Phil Hill & Peter Collins winning in the now iconic open fendered Testa Rossa. Moss and the Astons are fast and lead but both cars retire in the 5th hour with gearbox problems. A false start happened when many of the drivers were still strolling across the front straight when the gun sounded. All who were ready were called back and the race was on. Enjoy all 44 photos and captions.
