BARC driver Alan Friedland in his Elva MkVII had a great weekend with a 1st and 2nd overall, winning FM in each race.  Bhind him winning GM in a Lotus 23 is another BARC driver oscar Koveleski.

 BARC driver Mickey Cohen’s Elva MkVI leads the Sutter Ford Special.  Mickey would finish 2nd in GM.
 The Sutter Ford Special started in the morning but was a DNF and never made the grid for the afternoon feature.
 BARC driver Harry Reynolds in his venerable Lotus 11.  Harry was 3rd in GM in the morning to the much newer cars but outlasted them in the afternoon to win the class and finish 3rd overall.
 Always fun, a pack of Corvettes and others are flagged off tocrack some fiberglass.
 Hal Keck’s Archway Ford Cobra won both races easily.  Keck was the NE divisional champ having a fun weekend at a regional race.
 Ned Owen got some sponsorship from Reading Ford.  He rewarded them with a 2nd and a 4th.
 Steady John Bolton finished 3rd in both races.  Only Keck in the Cobra beat him in each race.
 Early on, Owen’s GT350 Mustang was able to stay close to Keck.
 BARC girl Judy Beattie in her Lotus Super 7 had a great day with a win and a second in CP.
 BARC driver Sam Feinstein was typically quick in the Lotus Super 7 but just as typically was a dnf in both races.
 Jim Hebbard in the #24 Super 7 was 1st in CP in the morning race.
 The Lotus 7 raced in HM with a SAAB engine.  Ken Gee was 1st overall in the morning and  2nd overall and obviously won HM in both.
 The #14 Corvair was shared for the races.  Nels Sanburn was 7th overall and won A Sedan in the morning and Burnette Wilcox’s won AS and finish 9th overall in the afternoon during the GP and Sedan combined races.
 Ellie Fronina drove well to 5th in GP in the afternoon but failed to finish in the morning race.
 Joe Cam’s all conquering Morgan won GP and first overall in both races.
 Howard Hanna was a devout racer of DB’s and he made them quick.  At Reading he finished 2nd overall in GP in both races.
 Carl Truitt was as dominating as Joe Cam and won HP in both races.
 Jim Murphy’s Mini was victorious in C sedan and 11th overall in the morning and 7th in the afternoon.
 The battle in the FP-HM races was between Buzz Marcus in the Alpine and Ken Gee in the Lotus SAAB.  It was tight in both races with Marcus winning one and Gee the other.

 Jack Rabold’s fast and beautiful EP Porsche failed in race 1 and never made it back on the track.
 Phil Speir’s MGB won in the morning and was 2nd in DP in the afternoon.
 Joe Cam is his familiar #51 but this time in a formula junior.  Unfortunately Joe would not finish.  Dean Alles is in a very dated F III car just in front.
 John Wanner #22 and S. Laning #2 surround Doug March’s BARC #59 Formcar.
 BARC driver Doug March in his AutoSport by Jiri Formcar was top 5 in FVee in the morning and afternoon.
